Startup School

Next weekend I'm flying to Boston to attend Startup School along with Jeff and Josh. I'm really looking forward to it. It's being run by Paul Graham, whose essays I've really enjoyed reading over the last couple years. Also among the amazing list of speakers is Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple Computer.

The school is on Saturday, so we'll have all day Sunday to tour the city. We're planning on taking one of the Duck Tours and I'll most definitely be eating lots of clam chowder. Anyone else been to Boston and have suggestions for things we ought to do?

I just moved to Boston about 3 months ago, so I've been eyeing this entry in the hopes of poaching some of the brilliant suggestions that should be pouring in about now.

Since the traffic is a little light, let me say that I approve of the Duck Tours plan - looks like great fun. I've never done them but they remind me a bit of a river tour I took in Chicago once which was fun.

Since the Startup School is in Cambridge, you'll be convenient to a bunch of cool schoolish stuff. I think it is pretty fun to just do some cruising by foot around Harvard and MIT. There are also some nice art museums if that floats your boat.

Wish I could share more "inside secrets" but I'm still waiting to learn most of them! Hopefully you'll get some better advice before next weekend...
