The image directly above was taken on a Pocari Sweat bench in Kyoto, Japan during my trip there with my friend Jeff in March 2006. More images from that trip are posted on Flickr.
I cofounded Purple Cover, Inc. with two college friends in May 2010. We're creating a product called AnyLeaf that helps people find grocery deals at nearby stores.
Previously, I worked at Apple as a UI software engineer. I joined Apple as an intern with the Soundtrack Pro team during the summer of 2003 and returned fulltime in July 2004. In July 2008, I moved to the iWork team and helped create iWork for iPad (Keynote, Pages, and Numbers).
I graduated from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH in May 2004 with a B.S. in Computer Science. I was born and raised in Williamsport, PA. I graduated from Loyalsock Township Senior High School in June 2000. If you're someone I've met but we haven't kept in touch, please drop me a line and let me know what you're up to.
I currently reside in Sunnyvale, California and absolutely love it out here. The weather is amazing and there are so many things to see and do.
I'm a music fanactic and usually go to at least one or two concerts a month up in San Francisco. Indie and pop-punk are the staples of my collection, but I listen to a wide variety of tunes. Some of my favorite bands include The Decemberists, Matt Pond PA, Death Cab for Cutie, New Found Glory, Brand New, The Postal Service, Blink-182, Fall Out Boy, Jets to Brazil, Thrice, Something Corporate, and many, many more. And I love being introduced to new music. The number of music related posts started to overwhelm my personal blog, so I started a new blog called Modern Minstrels for all my music ramblings.
I like to spend as much time outside as possible; often going for a hike at nearby Rancho San Antonio, or exploring the surrounding area a bit more by geocaching. As for indoor activities, I enjoy playing board games and card games including Settlers of Catan, Puerto Rico, Pinochle, and Texas Hold'em.
